Colby Bowers
Founding Partner - Executive
Colby is a full-time real estate investor and co-founder of Sentinel Equity Group, LLC. He has been investing in real estate since 2001 and understands a great investment deal when he sees one. He has managed numerous fix and flips, a portfolio of single-family rentals as well as been a private note lender. Colby has a passion for helping people to safely invest in real estate. He loves real estate because of the controllability of your inputs and outputs, risk aversion, and tax incentives. He also served 23 years of distinguished military service as a senior executive managing facilities and projects in multiple states, multi-million-dollar budgets, and hundreds of enlisted Air Force Members. As a wounded warrior, he has a passion for giving back to his community by helping homeless and struggling veterans and supporting first responders.
Brandon Guite
Founding Partner - Executive
Brandon, a former Director in an international construction firm, transitioned to real estate seeking financial freedom and fulfillment for his family. Specializing in multifamily properties, he founded By Design Capital, LLC, leveraging 5 years of experience in real estate and private lending. With a background in Civil Engineering, Project Management and Senior Leadership managing $35M+ in revenue, Brandon brings a unique skill set to problem-solving and achieving results. Based in Rapid City, South Dakota, he enjoys small-town life with his fiancé Allie and their dog Gordo.
Brad Hess

Real Estate & Investor Relations
Brad brings experience from his career in the steel construction and fabrication industry. In his 14 year career, he has held roles from laborer to foreman and fabricator to design draftsman. Brad started his real estate career in 2018 by fully renovating a duplex which then led to his passion for commercial real estate. Brad utilizes his real-world experience to manage projects in the real estate space, with a focus on value add and asset management. Along with his passion to be in the trenches of real estate projects, Brad also has a passion for investor relations and will talk real estate to anyone for as long as they will listen. Brad sees the value of investing in real estate and wants everyone to own a piece of main street.
Liz Hess
Founding Partner - Operations
Liz Hess brings extensive expertise from her senior positions in business continuity, healthcare emergency management, and project management. In 2018, she and her husband, Brad Hess, ventured into the real estate sector, founding BL Hess Investments in 2023. With a strong background in global program development and stakeholder engagement within emergency management, Liz is adept at creating strategic initiatives. She is dedicated to developing standard practices and operational frameworks, nurturing shared visions, and promoting ongoing growth. Inspired by the lasting value of real estate and the success stories of previous generations, Liz is eager to utilize her skills for the benefit of the community, motivated by her roles as a wife, mother, and Christian.

The Funds objective is to provide investors with liquidity and flexibility of their funds.
The fund will lend to carefully vetted entities individually and collectively as a passive or active member, in carefully selected and vetted real estate opportunities, primarily including, but not limited to: lend capital to buy, hold, fix or flip properties across the United States to include residential and multifamily real estate and other businesses with collateral in the same markets as well as a focus on South Dakota, Pennsylvania, and Montana.
